This year the Grade 9 Concert Band didn't go to a festival, and instead visited Pioneer Lodge for some workshops with specialist musicians. Those clinicians had nothing but positive things to say about our students, not just for their focus and musical effort, but also the character they brought to working with new people. ![[Pasted image 20260602224535.png]] The Grade 9 Concert Band will also be visiting Holy Spirit Academy next week to introduce the Grade 6 students to the instruments of band. Throughout this year the group has been developing their skills and musicality, and have generously accepted one of our high school students as their guest conductor not once, but twice.
