You’ve explored static design with posters.  But Websites are not static … anymore (they were in 1997, but we’ve advanced a bit since then).  Websites involve clicking on various elements to see other pages, and each page may have a different layout or design.  Not only does it need to make sense to the user, it needs to be intuitive in its navigation.  The design may also need to be such that you direct the user to an intended target. **Your task will be to evaluate 3 websites based on their use of the Elements and Principles of Design, Typography choices, and navigability.** # Possible Websites (as of October, 2026) - https://www2.pnwx.com/ - https://www.tagteamsigns.com/ - https://www.goodreads.com/ - https://www.suzannecollinsbooks.com/ - https://art.yale.edu/ # Your Tasks 1. Choose 3 of the provided websites.  You do not need to complete this for any more than 3 websites. 2. For each of the provided websites, provide an analysis of the front page’s design choices with regards to the Elements and Principles of Design and typographical choices. 1. Take screenshots to help you point out where the choices were made as you place them in the Google Slides. 3. Discuss the design elements they used to help with navigation.  Did you know where to click?  How?  Is there a place they wanted you to click more obviously than others? 4. Was there any part of the front page that you felt was downplayed on purpose?  Why would the design have downplayed them? 5. For each website, navigate to at least 2 internal pages.  Discuss their use of Elements and Principles and typographical choices. 1. Take screenshots to support your responses. 2. Discuss the navigational components here as well; were they particularly effective in getting you to click on something they would have wanted you to click on? # Marks - Presenting - 5 marks - Responding - 30 marks - Connecting - 15 marks --- # Assignment 6 Follow-Up - Mobile Designs The first part of this assignment involved the analysis of the design of a desktop website. However the modern use of the internet more heavily relies on mobile browsers than ever before, now to be preferred over desktop designs.  You will be completing a similar response to Assignment 6, but this time focusing on the Mobile-Only designs. **Your task will be to evaluate 3 websites based on their use of the Elements and Principles of Design, Typography choices, and navigability for various mobile devices.** ## Your Tasks 1.
