## This Trip is for All Grade 7 Concert Band Students  Every year we take Grade 7 Concert Band students on a simple overnight trip that helps them acclimatize to the festival experience while also developing those crucial interpersonal skills required of not only the collaborative experience of Band, but of the 21st Century on the whole. We usually go to Airdrie to do this, but that must change this year. So instead, to Lethbridge we go! ## March 20-21, 2023 ## Final Cost - $110 paid through SchoolCashOnline The trip includes a performance at the Lethbridge and District Music and Speech Arts Festival (dates to be announced sometime in February, which is why our dates are tentative). There are two potential itineraries for this trip, and I will update you as we discover them. **March 20, 2023 (tentative)** *3:45 PM -* Depart after school 5:45 PM - Arrive in Lethbridge at 5:45 PM, go for fast food supper 7:30 PM - Check into hotel, late night swim 10:00 PM - Evening Prayer 10:30 PM - Lights Out **March 21, 2023 (tentative)** 8:00 AM - Wakeup Call, Continental Breakfast 9:00 AM - Check out of and depart the Hotel 9:30 AM - Arrive at the University of Lethbridge 10:00 AM - Workshop with Dr. Chee Meng Lo 11:00 AM - Depart the University of Lethbridge, go to Park Place Mall for Lunch 1:30 PM - Load Bus and depart for Southminster United Church 2:00 PM - Warm-up in Southminster Hall 2:25 PM - Perform in Southminster United Church 2:50 PM - Listen to the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute High School Band 3:20 PM - Load and depart Lethbridge 5:30 PM - Arrive at Notre Dame Collegiate, unload, disembark **What students will need:** - Working Instruments, Pencil, Sheet Music - Overnight Bag with pajamas and clothes for 1 extra day, swimwear optional - Band Uniform - Cash for one Supper and one Lunch
