Hello all! Strings and Jazz have some experiences at the Highwood Lions Music Festival coming up. The St. Cecilia String Orchestra performs on March 18, 2026, and our two Jazz Combos perform on March 20, 2026. The details are as follows; ## Strings - Wednesday, March 18, 2026 **Students will need working instruments, uniforms (black pants, white under-shirt, black shoes and socks, jackets provided) as well as a bag lunch.** 11:15 AM - Load the NDC Activity Bus and depart for the Okotoks Alliance Church 12:00 PM - Arrival at the Okotoks Alliance Church, warm up, tune up 12:45 PM - Performances at the Okotoks Alliance Church 2:00 PM - Depart the Okotoks Alliance Church 2:45 PM - Return to NDC, no after school rehearsal. **Families will need to sign an off-campus activity form that will appear in their School Cash Online, although no fees are attached to this activity.** ## Jazz Combos - Friday, March 20, 2026 All performances are scheduled for 9:00 AM, however as there is no school that day, students are expected to arrange their own transportation to the **High River United Church**, with expected arrival by 8:30 AM for tuning and setup.
