Hello all! This is just a quick message to say that all instruments that were anticipated to be delivered by Long & McQuade have arrived and have been delivered to students, along with any other supplies they purchased. Your student should now have their instrument available for practice at home. Grade 9 and Senior Students also have both their Bravura books and their sheet music to get started on practicing. Grade 7s and 8s have their Bravura books already, but will also receive their sheet music on Monday. **If you are renting through Notre Dame Collegiate**, you should now see your instrument rental fees posted in SchoolCashOnline. Please submit payment for these instruments. They will be provided fully to students once payment has been received. This includes fees for Percussion, Electronic Equipment and Steel Pans usage, as well as secondary instruments. If you need to make any special arrangements, please connect with Deanna Hartung at 403-652-2231. ## Startup Clinics - Monday, September 22 If your student is in Grade 7 or is new to their instrument this year, they will be participating in Startup Clinics during Blocks 3 and 4 on Monday, September 22. These clinics include focussed mentorship by our Senior High musicians to help students learn how to maintain, hold, and care for their instruments, as well as making their first sounds. There is no fee for this activity, and it is occurring on campus. **Your student's only requirement is to have all their music instruments and supplies at the school on Monday, September 22**. ## After School Music Starts Next Week! The after-school programs begin next week, as follows; - Monday, Senior Jazz Combos - Tuesday, Panorama (Gr 7-10) - Tuesday 5:30 PM, Panorama Maestros (Gr. 11-12) - Wednesday, St. Cecilia String Orchestra (all grades) - Thursday, The Woodshedders (Stage/Jazz Band, all grades) The music begins!
