Hello all, this post is about the Okotoks Children's Parade and Festival, and how the NDC Marching Band will be participating in it. # Saturday, June 20, 2026 Parade Day Schedule - 7:15 AM - All participating students need to be at Notre Dame Collegiate - 7:30 AM - The bus leaves Notre Dame Collegiate (we cannot be any later than this, or we won't get pancakes!) - 8:00 AM - Arrival at the Okotoks Recreation Centre, enjoy Pancake Breakfast together provided by the Okotoks Lion's Club - 8:45 AM - Unload the bus - 9:00 AM - Line up for the Parade - 10:00 AM - Parade Starts, we will do the full route which goes on Milligan Drive, starting at Veteran's Way and going all the way passed Dr. Morris Gibson School - End of Parade - Walk back to the Okotoks Recreation Centre, line up for "Battle of the Bands" style performance - 11:00 AM - Perform in front of the stage across from the skateboard park, right beside the "crook" of Okotoks Drive and north of Percy Pegler school - After performance - load the bus and return to NDC. **If you want to stay in Okotoks, Mr. Windsor requires written notification from a parent or guardian that you will be doing so. Otherwise Mr. Windsor must follow the expectation that he is to safely return you to NDC.** - No later than 12:30 PM - Arrive at NDC, unload and be checked out for the weekend. For our entire time in Okotoks, our bus will parked at the Okotoks Recreation Center, be our "home base", and will always be secured. If students want to put personal belongings on the bus, they are welcome to. ## What Students Will Need - Instruments - Sunscreen and sunglasses - Black Pants and White Shirt - Good running/cross-training shoes (colour doesn't matter) - Insect Repellant optional but recommended. - Snacks or bag lunch optional, students will be able to enjoy it after the final performance ## What Mr. Windsor will be providing - Water bottles for everyone - NDC Music Jackets - Transportation - Smiles # Thank you for supporting your students in this unique experience, and helping to represent the NDC Music Program to the wider community.
